Let’s Nin-Nin! Privacy Policy

Terms of Use | Support | 日本語

This page explains the information handled in “Let’s Nin-Nin!” The operator is nyanairo.

Why We Use Information

The operator uses information for the following purposes:

  • To provide the game’s online features
  • To detect cheating
  • To answer inquiries
  • To measure how well ads for this game work

Ads and Tracking

This app does not show ads. To measure how well ads for this game work, it uses “Singular,” a measurement tool from Singular Labs. This covers ads such as X ads and Apple’s search ads.

If the “Allow tracking?” prompt appears, it shows up just once, right after you choose your first ninja. It comes from Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT). Whether or not you allow tracking, the game’s features and rewards are exactly the same.

The prompt does not appear in these cases:

  • You have already allowed or denied tracking in your iPhone’s settings.
  • The prompt itself is restricted in your iPhone’s settings.
  • You had already chosen your first ninja before you updated this app.

Measurement starts after you choose your first ninja. If the prompt appears, measurement does not start until you answer it. If you quit the app before you choose your first ninja, no information is sent to Singular.

If the prompt does not appear, we treat it as not allowed, and we do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA). The exception is when you have allowed tracking in your iPhone’s settings, in which case we follow that setting.

You can change your choice at any time in your iPhone’s Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

Information Sent for Ad Measurement

To measure how well ads work, we send the following information to Singular:

  • Records of app installs and launches
  • Basic information about your device and OS
  • An app identifier for each device, the identifier for vendor (IDFV), not an advertising identifier
  • The IP address used for the connection
  • The advertising identifier (IDFA). It is sent only if you allow tracking.
  • Records of real purchases and pass renewals, including the product, amount, currency, and transaction number. The date and time of the purchase and whether it was real or in a test environment are also sent.

If you have not allowed tracking, the above information, except the IDFA, is still sent to Singular. Through Apple’s system (SKAdNetwork), grouped counts that do not identify individuals are also measured.

In the app distributed on the App Store and TestFlight, test purchases (Sandbox) are not sent to Singular. Restoring purchases does not send the records again. If a purchase is refunded, the records already sent are not canceled automatically.

How long information sent to Singular is kept is set by Singular. For details, please see Singular’s privacy policy. If you want to ask for deletion, that also follows Singular’s privacy policy and its contact channel.

If you withdraw your permission for this app in your iPhone’s Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, the advertising identifier (IDFA) is no longer sent from then on.

Information Kept on Your Device

The following information stays on your device and is not sent to the operator:

  • The save data itself (your game progress and items)
  • The name and date of birth you enter for fortune-telling
  • The camera image used to scan a QR code when adding a friend

Notifications are created only on your device. No notifications are sent from outside.

Save data is encrypted with a key on your device and saved with a signature. On iPhone, the key may move to a new device along with an encrypted backup. It does not always move.

Information Handled by Online Features

When you use the online features, the following information is sent to a server and stored. The operator runs this server on Cloudflare.

  • The ID that tells accounts apart. It is a number created on your device, and it is not used for advertising.
  • Your nickname and your nickname’s short message
  • Guild descriptions and announcements, and messages in guild, opponent, and world chat (Japanese and English)
  • Reports and records of our response, such as message removal and the reason and end time of a chat sending suspension
  • Team setups, results, and rankings for battles, guilds, and expeditions

World chat messages can be read by all players who have registered a nickname. Messages show your nickname and icon, and your guild name at the time of posting if you belong to a guild.

Anti-Cheat Records and How Long We Keep Them

To detect cheating, the following records are sent to a server and stored. These records are not made public.

  • Records of game progress. These are numbers that only go up, such as the number of battles, captures, fusions, and total levels, along with a summary of team setups. They also include the total Gold earned and spent, and the number of pieces of equipment and maps obtained.
  • Records of gacha draws and milestone rewards
  • Records of purchases verified by Apple: the transaction number, the product, the date and time, and the result of the grant

Detailed records are kept for up to 90 days after we receive them. The limit for each person is 10,000 records or 32 MiB. If either limit is exceeded, the oldest records are deleted first.

The summary of the records (the state of the series) is kept for 180 days after your last activity.

Payment Information

Payment information, such as your payment method and card number, is handled by Apple. Neither the operator nor Singular receives it.

Server Operation Logs

The server records things such as the request number, type, and result. These operation logs are not linked to any account.

Information Received Through Inquiries

When you contact us through the contact form, the operator receives the name, email address, and message you enter. We use them to reply.

Providing Information to Third Parties

The information we send to Singular is described in “Information Sent for Ad Measurement.” To measure how well ads work, Singular may pass measurement results to the ad platforms (such as X) that the operator has set up. For people who did not allow tracking, we set things up so that their information is not passed to ad platforms on an individual basis.

Other than that, we do not provide information to third parties, except when the person has given consent or when required by law.

Deleting Your Account

In the app’s Settings, choose “Account” and then the account deletion option. When you delete your account, the following information on the server is deleted:

  • Your nickname, team setups, messages, and rankings
  • Rewards you have not yet received, your recovery code, and anti-cheat records

Records of past battles and guilds keep the parts that other people’s results need. In those parts, your name is replaced with “Deleted account”.

To confirm that the deletion took place, we keep a minimal record. This record does not include your name or ID.

The save data on your device, purchase records, and items you have already received remain. Account deletion cannot be undone. Even a recovery code cannot bring the account back.

Deleting your account does not stop a subscription. To cancel, open Apple’s subscription management page. You can also open it from your iPhone’s Settings by tapping your name and then “Subscriptions”.

Deleting Data on Your Device

To erase the game data on your device, choose the save data option in the app’s Settings and then delete. Deleting the app also erases the data on your device.

Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we will announce it on this page.
